The finish is the clear protective coat over the wood. All of ours are water-based: low odor, clear, and dry fast. Here they are from economical to commercial grade; we recommend one after seeing your home, kids and pets.

Economical solution

Reliable performance
A great option for medium-traffic areas, balancing quality and affordability.

Superior protection
Excellent resistance to scratches and daily wear. Perfect for busy family homes.

Maximum durability
Recommended for high-end homes and heavy-traffic areas. The most durable finish in the Bona system.
Sheen is how much light the finish reflects. It does not change durability, only the look. Lower sheens hide everyday scratches and dust better.

Sheen tiles are an illustration on the same wood sample. We apply a test area so you can see the real sheen in your own light. Product names are trademarks of Bona AB and LOBA GmbH.

Sanded to bare wood, stain samples approved by you, color applied.
Protective coats applied and cured; we walk the floor with you at the end.
Solid 3/4" hardwood can usually be sanded many times over its life. Engineered floors depend on the thickness of the top layer; we check before quoting.
Many families plan a few nights away while finish coats cure. We will tell you which rooms are off-limits and for how long.
Yes. Once the floor is back to bare wood we test stain samples on your actual boards so you approve the color before we finish.
Most homes take three to five days from sanding to the last coat, plus cure time before furniture goes back.
Tell us about your project. We'll bring samples, measure, test moisture and leave you with a clear written proposal.
