Hardwood flooring questions.
How much do hardwood floors cost in Charlotte?
It depends on species, plank width, subfloor condition and how much prep and trim the job needs. We measure in person and give you an itemized written proposal, so you see where every dollar goes. Sanding and refinishing starts at $3.49 per square foot. The visit is free.
How long does a project take?
Most rooms take a few days; a full home usually about a week. Refinishing needs extra time for finish coats to cure. Your proposal includes a detailed schedule.
Can we stay home during the work?
Usually yes for installations. For sanding and refinishing, many families plan a few nights away while the finish cures. We'll tell you which rooms are off-limits and for how long.
What floors do you install?
Solid and engineered hardwood, prefinished hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile and carpet. We also build and refinish stairs and handle repairs.
Do you move furniture and remove old floors?
Yes. Carpet and glue-down removal and furniture moving can be included in your proposal.
Is the work guaranteed?
Installation and refinishing workmanship is backed by a one-year warranty, and we carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance.

We're based in Charlotte and work across Charlotte, Ballantyne, Myers Park, SouthPark, Dilworth, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Concord, Waxhaw, Weddington, Indian Trail and the rest of the Charlotte area in North Carolina.
