We bring matching samples to your free in-home visit and show you how the repair will blend.

A repair only lasts if the cause is gone. Before we replace a board we take moisture readings in the wood and the subfloor, look for leaks and check the subfloor around the damage. If we find hidden damage, we stop, show you and get your approval before any added cost.
Subfloor damage found during a job, fixed before new boards went down.

We look at the damage, take moisture readings and check the subfloor to find the cause.
Species, width and grade matched to your floor; for prefinished floors we look for the same product line.
Damaged boards cut out, subfloor fixed where needed and new boards woven in.
Sanded and finished to blend with the floor around it when needed, then walked with you.
Yes. We cut out the damaged boards and weave in new ones of the same species and width. On site-finished floors the area is then sanded and finished so it blends with the rest of the floor.
We match species, width and stain as closely as possible. The best blend comes when the repaired area and the floor around it are refinished together; we will tell you at the visit which option fits your floor.
Sometimes. Lightly cupped boards can flatten once the wood dries out. Boards that are swollen, soft or stained black need to be replaced. We first find and stop the moisture source, then check readings in the wood and the subfloor.
Yes. Squeaks usually come from boards or subfloor that have moved. We secure loose boards and fix the subfloor where we can reach it.
Light surface marks often sand out. Deep urine stains go into the wood, so those boards are replaced and the area is finished to blend.
Tell us about your project. We'll bring samples, measure, test moisture and leave you with a clear written proposal.
