Hardwood Flooring in Huntersville, NC

Hardwood installation, LVP, sanding and refinishing and staircases for homes in Huntersville and the Lake Norman area.

Many Huntersville homes were finished with builder-grade carpet or laminate that is now worn out. Our most common jobs here are replacing it with hardwood or waterproof LVP, which holds up well with kids and pets, refinishing existing oak, and converting carpeted stairs to hardwood. We work throughout 28078, including Birkdale, Skybrook and Northstone, and in nearby Cornelius and Davidson.

Flooring questions from Huntersville.

Hardwood or LVP: which is better for my Huntersville home?

Hardwood can be refinished for decades and adds value to the home. LVP is waterproof and very resistant to pet scratches. Many families choose hardwood for living areas and LVP for kitchens, laundry and bonus rooms. We bring samples of both to the estimate.

Can you replace carpet on my stairs with hardwood?

Yes. We remove the carpet and install new oak or LVP treads with painted or matching risers, and we can replace the handrail and balusters at the same time.

Do you serve the Lake Norman area?

Yes. Along with Huntersville we work in Cornelius, Davidson and the rest of the Lake Norman area.

How do I get a price for my project?

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with HD Flooring. They completed both my flooring installation and staircase remodel, and I’m very pleased with how everything turned out. The staircase transformation made a big difference in the overall look of my home, and the flooring looks great as well.

The crew was professional, respectful, and did quality work. There were a few scheduling and timing issues along the way, but the finished product was worth it. I appreciate the work HD Flooring put into the project and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality flooring or staircase remodeling.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hugo and his team transformed my home. They replaced carpeted areas with new hardwoods, and refinished the old orange floors; you cannot tell which is which. It's seamless and perfect. (See third photo - the closest wood is 20+ years old, the family room is new wood. Amazing.) They also replaced the stairway railings, newel posts and spindles. It is beautiful - better than I could have imagined. He communicated with us well, they kept everything clean, his team was friendly and skilled. I cannot imagine a better experience. Highly recommend!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hugo and his team sanded and refinished with new stain 28+ year old hardwoods, also put new hardwoods replacing carpet in the family room to match.
Replace old vinyl flooring in laundry room with LVP planks, so much better.
Installation was very professional; they worked around our work schedule and kept us informed every step of the way.
When floors were finished, we had a small concern Hugo came the same day and fixed it.
Very satisfied with the whole project, look forward to our next project.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hugo is great. From the first time I meet him. He is very professional. He resurfaced our hardwood and added two additional room with hardwood. It turned out great. You can’t tell what was old and what is new. He just came back today (months later) and did a repair that we screwed up. He came within a few days of calling him. I wish all contractors were this good. I definitely would recommend his services!
